dear battlestar galactica,
I love you, I really do. In fact, for the first fifty minutes of this episode? I was RIGHT WITH YOU. I was on your side, I was cheering you on - I was delighted! this was the show I had been missing all season (and for chunks of s2, too), the show that was smart and funny and painful and beautiful.
And then - dude. Dude, NO. Because as much as BSG is an ensemble show, and as much as I LOVE that about it, Kara is above and beyond my favorite - has been since day one, will be until forever. As much as I loved, oh, every other thing you did with her in this episode, I am totally not okay with this whole DEAD thing. Um. Yeah.
Whether or not this is a shark-jumping point (for me, at least) will, obviously, depend on how the rest of the season plays out. I do still think they could pull this out of the fire! I'm not sure how, but - I mean, if they can write an episode that grabs my heart like this one? they can make the rest of it work. I'm just not sure that they will.
In the meantime, though, *eats Ron Moore's head*

Also, if I have mono? I will be so pissed off.
