I meme because it beats the hell out of lesson planning

The problem with LJ: We all think we are so close, but really we know nothing about one another. So I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Ask away.

rl-shenanigans update: was in boston (\o/), am now NOT in boston (boooooo), am probably going to try to get over to chicago at...some point?, am still not getting anything written (but hope to change that soon?), am still only sort of getting shit done w/r/t future plans (but am DEFINTELY going to kick that into high gear pretty soon), am tinhatting john crichton and aeryn sun HARDER THAN ANY PAIRING EVER* WHAT THE HELLLLLLL, am still living in my parents' basement and basically okay with that fact, am still mostly loving my job (and still love to complain about it). Still bad at commenting; still love your faces.

Oral exams this week! Let's see how many terrible jokes I can make about this fact. (HINT: probably more than any of you really want to hear.)

I TINHAT US HARDER THAN ANYTHING IN THE WORLD. Also, NO U.

Oh, mannnnn. Um. Living with Jai, obviously, in a city with fangirls! And possibly having a kitten? I want to go back to school to get an MA and a teaching certificate, which is a year or two. So in the best of all possible worlds, five years from now I would be teaching French in a public school somewhere—ideally somewhere where I'd get the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students, both in terms of cultural and ethnic background and in terms of age range—working on getting a full license.

And in the summers I would go to MN for a month or two and help run my program (WHICH WILL NOT GET CANCELLED, IN MY PERFECT WORLD), and then come back and putter around the apartment and cling to my girl and dork around with the internet. And just. I AM PRETTY EASY IN MY LIFE, TBH.

I would LIKE to live in Boston! IDK, a lot of it is going to depend on where I wind up going to school, and how certification plays out—I'm probably going to wind up getting my certification in the same state where I get my degree, which means a few more years teaching there before I can think about moving, but, like. Boston is pretty swell! I would certainly not be OPPOSED to living there!
