More to the point, there is also an oral component to the final exam! Which is in mid-December, which is...really not that far distant. HOSHIT. Hopefully that means that someday soon I will get a decision as to whether or not I am hired for next semester? *crosses fingers*

IN OTHER NEWS, I have been invited to a Halloween party! And Halloween is...the day after tomorrow! It's being thrown by some of the grad students I work closely with, and while I am fairly certain that they all secretly hate me, I am also pretty certain that I am being neurotic and incorrect in my opinions, and also that social interaction is good for me. So I need a Halloween costume! internet, what should I be for Halloween that is a) cheap and b) not too labor-intensive? I thought about wearing leggings as pants and a wretched plaid shirt and going as my students, but that might be a joke that would only be funny to me, and also I'd have to wear leggings as pants, which, NO.

Come talk to meeeeeeee, internet. Other acceptable topics: Middleman, Castle, Farscape, Whip It; any and all crossovers between the aforementioned fandoms; lol ORAL.

oh mannnnnn. because Wendy would totally TRY not to be jealous or possessive or disapproving—and on some levels she wouldn't be! because, like, she loves Lacey, and she loves the Middleman, and she wants them to be happy together! and, like, she is a modern women with a vibrator of her very own, and she is ALL ABOUT people expressing healthy sexuality in whatever way they mutually choose!

...but she'd secretly be REALLY JEALOUS and kind of sulky, and kind of angry with herself for being jealous and sulky, and just - AWKWARDNESS ENSUES. (And then eventually kisses, because that is how I roll.)
