today, at work, I defeated the library! by which I mostly mean that I figured out how to log onto AIM via my gmail account, dispite the computers all hating me.

...what I'm saying is, there may be a lot of this in the future of this journal. WHICH IS FINE BECAUSE STORYTIME IS AWESOME, RIGHT? ESPECIALLY STORIES ABOUT SNUGGLETIMES.

and they're both just - they're very calm about it, you know?
like, they spoon on the couch sometimes!

etben: and somebody - possibly bob, soon after he joined the band? or possibly a tech or whatever - came in and was kind of O.O
because, like - Gerard does that to Frank, sure! and to Ray! but his own brother?

pearl_o: snicker

etben: which leads to mikey saying, "shut up, you sick fuck, we're fucking cuddling."
- possibly this leads to bob joining in.
can you imagine bob bryar cuddling with the brothers way?

I can imagine -- them climbing on him?

like, he sits down on the couch
and then they come in!
and an hour later, he's just BURIED IN WAYS

etben: - it's funny, because they're very different about it
like, Gerard is all STEALTH CUDDLES
where he's talking to you!
and being all animated! and leaning in close to make sure you hear him!

pearl_o: ahahaha.

etben: and gradually he gets closer and closer until he's straddling your lap and leaning forward and resting his head on your shoulder, talking right into your ear
NOT THAT THIS HAS EVER HAPPENED TO BOB OR ANYTHING

etben: no
whereas mikey is a very upfront cuddler!
like, he doesn't necessarily ask?
but he's very calm about just sitting down next to bob, draping his legs across bob's lap, and snuggling in against bob's shoulder
or curling up behind him if he's sleeping in an actual bed

pearl_o: you know I have an entry where I wrote If Gerard Way was a stealth cuddler, we would ALL be in danger., right?

etben: because mikey will come in, and just colonize bob's left shoulder, get his legs all across his lap and whatever
and then gerard will come in
and bob's all "..."
because, hi, he's SNUGGLING WITH GERARD'S BROTHER
but gerard totally doesn't even notice!

pearl_o: nods

etben: he just sits down next to them and starts up a conversation they'd been having before
and gradually squishes his way into their pile
until bob is really buried in WAYS

pearl_o: yaaaaaaaaay.

etben: and then ray comes in
and almost FALLS OVER GIGGLING
and bob's all "WHAT?"
- only quietly, because gerard's definitely asleep, and mikey hasn't moved in twenty minutes

pearl_o: eeeeeeeeeeee

etben: and ray's all, "no, dude, it's cool, it's just - it's like I've passed the baton or something."
bob: do you, like, want them back?
he flaps his hands as best as he can, but the Ways have his arms pretty well pinned.
Ray: No, it's good.
"I couldn't take that away from you, Bob."

etben: "Fuck you, Toro," bob says. "I know where you sleep."
6:46 PM It's not as menacing as he'd like, though, since Gerard takes that moment to snore against his neck

pearl_o: They crawl into your lap and fall asleep and you can't get up

pearl_o: in a way, the ways on bob is kind of like two baby kittens sleeping on a large calm dog.

and probably gnawing on big floppy dog ears
and the dog just shakes his head and is vaguely annoyed.

with the big dog taking care of the tiny fluffy kitten!

and he's all trying to keep the kitty from, like, killing itself and everything, and the kitty is just like LA LA LA LA and the dog is going crazy?

THAT IS BOB BRYAR AND THE WAYS.
One noted recurring feature of the Marc Antony and Pussyfoot relationship is during each episode there is a scene where Pussyfoot climbs onto Marc Antony's back and claws him in an attempt to get comfortable. Pussyfoot claws at Marc Antony's back while Marc Antony endures it and writhes in severe pain. Pussyfoot eventually stops and snuggles into Marc Antony's back for a nap and Marc Antony, relieved that the painful clawing has stopped, heaves a huge sigh of relief and lies down. Both dog and his beloved kitten then nap.
