SO HEY HERE'S A THOUGHT:
The next person who tells me that "camp sucks" and that I should come to [insert location here] can take a long walk off of a short pier. No, seriously. I get that you don't mean it the way it comes out, but, seriously. Fuck you. This is a hugely important part of who I am, of who I've been—this is, in a lot of ways, what I want to do with the rest of my life.
I know that the underlying meaning is "I miss you", and, hey! I miss you guys too! But phrasing matters, and when you tell me that this massively important part of my history "sucks"? Yeah, I pretty much want to punch you in the face, I'm not going to lie.
