Fic! in, um, due South?

So, see, I didn't think I was in the due South fandom, really I didn't.

But I watched an episode or two, just to see what it was all about, and read around a little, and thought, well, you know, if SGA weren't consuming my life, we could have something, me and dS, but as it was, it'd have to remain a nice thought.

But one thought remained with me: see, Rodney McKay is Canadian. And there's a certain theme of Candian-ness going through dS, and...but no. I wasn't going to go there.

Yeah. We can all guess how that one worked out.

Because then I met riverlight, and told her my crossover idea, and we wound up getting married and deciding that, yes, this needs to be written. It will be EPIC. It will be a story for the ages.




This is not that story.

This is what happens when I get distracted in class, and poke the shiny new fandom with mental sticks. riverlight gets blame and beta credit—I think she and threequarters are the only people on my flist who will read this—are any of the rest of you dS people? Any road:
