Home!

Vacation was tons of fun (and, riverlight: I SAW A MOUNTIE! and he was, as predicted, MADE OF AWESOME), although I'm plenty glad it's over—five days is just the right amount of Family Togetherness Time for me.

Although it turns out that Family Togetherness Time makes etben write! I took the new baby computer with me (*pets computer*), and was rather more productive than I'd expected: dribs and drabs on various WIPs, several thousand words on the long-awaited (by someone, I'm sure...) GUP-coda fic, a beginning to the linguistics-based fic I've been threatening forever (and a plot, I think! hoorah!)...and also a plotline for something that would probably be an epic, and would definitely be rodney/elizabeth. Shut up! They're my newly-discovered sooper sekkrit het pairing.

But more on that...if ever I finish those. Which should be soon! tomorrow is a day of writing (and mainlining BSG, because I'm only human a fangirl).

Also, I just watched Common Ground. And, I mean, if you want to meta about that in comments, go right ahead—I see the edges of some really interesting fic possibilities out of this—but right now, I have only one (non-spoilery) thing to say:

Whoever got Teyla her new costume is my new Favoritest Person In The Whole Wide World Ever.
